The latest rankings place Hamad General Hospital at an impressive 44th position globally, a remarkable leap from its previous ranking of 82. Al Wakrah Hospital follows closely at 46th, making an even bigger jump from 99th place in 2024. HMC Heart Hospital saw a similar rise, moving up to 84th from 175th, while the National Centre for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR) rounds out the list at 93rd.

The inclusion of four Qatari hospitals among the top 100 is a testament to Qatar’s investments in healthcare infrastructure and its focus on excellence. Johns Hopkins Hospital, recognized as the strongest hospital brand in 2025, rose seven positions in the rankings. It surpassed the Mayo Clinic Health System, which dropped to third place. Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust also made headlines by rising 14 spots to claim second place, further showcasing the ongoing evolution of healthcare excellence worldwide.
