Must-Attend Sessions at the 2025 Web Summit Qatar

The Web Summit Qatar is back! The 2025 summit will take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) from Sunday, Feb. 23 to Wednesday, Feb. 26.

The tech summit will host various discussions, panel talks, masterclasses, and much more. 

Here are some of the exciting sessions happening at the Web Summit this year:

Running in Circles: How the Old has Become New

The CEO of Qatar Foundation Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani will talk with social media influencer Uptiin Saiidi about how partnerships and collective action can drive impactful solutions. 

The discussion will take place at the Center Stage on Monday, Feb. 24, from 10:25 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

From BNPL to Neo-Banking and Beyond

The co-founder and CEO of Tabby Hosam Arab will be talking about the shift from the BNPL-focused model to an all-encompassing money app in the MENA region. 

The talk will take place on Monday, Feb. 24 on Stage 6, from 11:35 a.m. to 11:55 a.m.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Co-CEO of Paramount Global Brian Robbins and the CEO of United Talents Agency Jeremy Zimmer will talk about the various seismic shifts Hollywood has gone through from the writers and actors strike to the looming shadow of AI. 

The discussion will take place on Monday, Feb. 24 on the Center Stage, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:20 p.m.

Winning the Attention Game with Malcolm Gladwell

The world-renowned journalist and author will have a discussion with Byrne about the power of narrative and how audio storytelling moves listeners. The discussion will take place on Monday, Feb. 24, at the center stage, from 4:40 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

On Purpose and Podcasting-In Conversation with Jay Shetty and Conal Byrne

Global best-selling author and host of the podcast On Purpose Jay Shetty will discuss his journey with the CEO of iHeartMedia Digital, Conal Byrne, on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the Center Stage. 

The talk will take place from 4:40 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Voices from Gaza: A Conversation with Motaz Azaiza

The Palestinian journalist who was featured in the Time 100 Most Influential People of 2023 will share his experiences as a journalist in the war during Gaza at the summit. 

The conversation will take place at the Experience Summit, Stage 4 on Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 10:40 a.m. to 11:05 a.m.
