In the World Cup tournaments, 2,300 goals have been scored in 20 editions without counting penalties, since the first goal scored by French player Lucien Laurent in the 1930 edition, more than 1,200 football players have scored goals in the editions of the World Cup that have been held.

Here is a list of these goalscorers:
