The Disability Parking Permit is Available in a New Format

The Ministry of Interior has issued a new format of the disabled parking permit.

The Ministry of Interior recently announced that a new format for the Disability Parking Permit has been introduced.

The new format of the parking permit has been designed with the latest technical specifications.

Old parking permits will be valid until their expiration date. Here are the regulations for using the Disability Parking Permit:

If a disabled person is not inside the vehicle, then parking in disabled parking is prohibited.

The permit must be displayed behind the windshield of the vehicle.
If a vehicle is parking in a disabled parking space and the permit holder is not present, then the General Directorate of Traffic has the right to issue a violation and take away the disabled parking permit.
If an individual has lost their disabled parking permit, then the Directorate should be notified within 48 hours of the loss.
If a lost parking permit is found, it should be handed over to the nearest police station or Directorate office.
A permit without a stamp from the Traffic Directorate will be considered void.

Unauthorized use of this parking permit will lead to the suspension of the permit and violation issuance.
Using the permit when the disabled person is not present in the vehicle is prohibited.

These regulations should be followed by the permit holder to avoid any penalties.
