Six prominent individuals from Qatar have clinched coveted spots on Gulf Business Magazine's prestigious list of the '100 Most Powerful Arabs,' underscoring their significant influence in the global business landscape.

Gulf Business Magazine meticulously curated the annual list, analyzing notable events spanning 2023-2024 and evaluating candidates based on four key metrics: financial capital, human capital, expansion initiatives, and personal renown. 

Here Are Qatari Power Players:

Saad Sherida Al Kaabi:

Holding the dual roles of President and CEO of QatarEnergy and Chairman and MD of Industries Qatar, Saad Sherida Al Kaabi secured the fourth spot on the list. Spearheading strategic initiatives to enhance LNG production capacity, he oversees pivotal projects like the North Field Expansion, positioning Qatar as a key player in the global energy market.

Mansoor Ebrahim Al Mahmoud:

As CEO of Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Al Mahmoud ranks 12th on the list, managing assets worth $475 billion. His leadership has propelled QIA's foray into Qatar's inaugural VC Fund of Funds, targeting investments exceeding $1 billion.

Abdulla Mubarak Al Khalifa:

Aziz Aluthman Fakhroo:

Badr Mohammed Al Meer:

Newly appointed CEO of Qatar Airways Group, Al Meer debuts on the list at 71st place. Guiding one of the world's largest airlines, he navigates Qatar Airways through technological advancements and sustainable growth strategies, propelling the carrier to new heights of success.
