Sheikha Moza Honored with 'Infinity Love' Sculpture

Qatar Museums unveiled a striking new sculpture titled Infinity Love, crafted by Qatari artist Bashayer Al-Badr, in tribute to Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser's 25 years of dedicated support to the Al Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities.

The stainless steel artwork was revealed during a ceremony led by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Installed at the Al Shafallah Center, which was established by Sheikha Moza in 1999, the sculpture celebrates her tireless efforts in championing the rights of people with disabilities in Qatar. Rendered in flowing Arabic calligraphy, Infinity Love symbolizes unity and endless compassion, perfectly reflecting Sheikha Moza's enduring commitment to improving the lives of Qatar’s most vulnerable.

Artist Bashayer Al-Badr shared, “Infinity Love is a tribute to Her Highness's selfless dedication. The intertwined letters forming the infinity symbol serve as a metaphor for the boundless love and support she has offered for over two decades.”

The unveiling also coincided with the graduation ceremony of 43 students from the 2024 class at Al Shafallah. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman praised the graduates, referring to them as "the pillars of the future," and encouraged them to continue giving back to Qatar.

The Infinity Love sculpture now stands as a public symbol of Sheikha Moza's impactful legacy, joining the growing list of 140 public art pieces commissioned across Qatar.
