- 1 tablespoon turmeric
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ cup canola oil or other neutral oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup cane sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons tahini to grease the pan can be replaced with oil
- Handful of pine nuts or almonds

- Preparing the Oven and Pan
تم نسخ الرابطPreheat the oven to 375ºF. Grease a 9×9" baking pan with tahini sesame oil or another preferred oil.
- Mixing Dry Ingredients

- Blending Wet Ingredients and Baking
تم نسخ الرابطIn a small bowl, mix canola oil, milk, and cane sugar until sugar dissolves. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a smooth, bright yellow batter forms. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle pine nuts on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until pine nuts turn golden. Cool the baked mixture on a wire rack and cut it into 16 squares or diamond shapes.
