Qatar's Weather Shifts in Sept: Rain Expected as Summer Ends

The Qatar Meteorology Department has released its latest climate report, signaling the start of September as the first month of autumn and a transitional period between summer and winter. As Doha enters this seasonal shift, residents can expect a gradual change in the weather.

According to the report, the intense summer heat will begin to ease, giving way to milder temperatures. Along with the cooler weather, relative humidity is expected to rise, making the atmosphere feel more humid.

The department also highlights the likelihood of increased cloud cover throughout September. This cloudiness brings with it a chance of rain, particularly in the afternoons, where some showers could turn into thunderstorms.
