Qatari Hajj Mission Approves Camps in Mina and Arafat

The camps' locations in Mina and Arafat have been approved by the Qatari Hajj Mission.

Ali bin Sultan Al Misifri, the director of the Qatari Hajj Mission, noted that whereas the pilgrims' camps in Arafat are dispersed across two sites (Arafat 1), they are located in Mina on a single site (Arafat 2).

He noted that several meetings were held with the Muttawiffy Hujjaj South Asia Company and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to coordinate the preparation of the state pilgrim sites in the holy places, which helped to allocate specific sites to the pilgrims of Qatar in Arafat, close to the main street and the Mashaer Train.

According to the number of pilgrims in each campaign and the authorized area for each pilgrim, the Hajj Mission apportioned the camps in Mina and Arafat on the campaigns, he continued.

The camps were fully furnished with all necessary services, facilities, and equipment, including air conditioners, modern toilets, seating, and sleeping areas, as well as other items like mattresses and suitable electric power. Male and female workers were distributed among the camps, and all necessary security and safety requirements were met. In order to comfort pilgrims and give them the proper circumstances so that they can do their rituals in the best conditions possible, suitable locations have also been allocated for the medical clinics of the Qatari mission, where there is a clinic for men and another for women.

To ensure that only pilgrims from the State of Qatar were permitted entry into the encampment in Mina, Al Mahran claimed that the unit offered an e-reader system for the pilgrims' bracelets on mobile devices.
