'No Other Land' to be Released on Streaming in MENA

The Oscar-winning Palestinian-Israeli documentary film, 'No Other Land', will be available in the Middle East and North Africa on OSN Store via set-top boxes and Apple TV from Tuesday, Apr. 1.

The film follows the struggles of Palestinian inhabitants of the Masafer Yatta village in the occupied West Bank against the Israeli settlers who are set on demolishing their homes.

The Dubai distributor Front Row Filmed Entertainment recently acquired the film for distribution in the MENA region. Despite winning the Oscar for the 'Best Documentary' in early March, the film has been without a major US distributor.

The film has also won other prestigious awards, including awards from the Berlin International Film Festival, Gotham Awards, International Documentary Association, and Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards.

The news of the film's release on streaming services comes after its Palestinian co-director, Hamadan Ballal, was attacked and detained by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank on Monday.

He had sustained injuries to his head and stomach during the attack and was beaten during his detention. It was only after he was released on Tuesday that he received proper medical treatment for his injuries.

If you would like to watch 'No Other Land', you can check out on OSN or Apple TV this April.
