MIE-SPPU: First Indian University in Qatar

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Qatar has granted Milestone International Education (MIE) a license to operate as an academic institution. MIE is the first Indian university in Qatar because it is affiliated with and managed by Pune University.

Any student who has registered for MIE-SPPU is regarded as a Savitribai Phule Pune University student and is eligible to enroll in any of the 900 institutions that are connected to SPPU. A local organization called Milestone International Education (MIE) is led by Hassan Chougule and composed of Ali Abdul Latif Al Misnad, Mohammed bin Hammam Al Abdulla, and DPS Indian Group.

The only university from the State of Maharashtra to be included in the top 10 in India is SPPU, which is in Pune on 411 acres of verdant greenery.
