Metrash2 Includes 17 New Electronic Services

The Ministry of Interior announced the launch of 17 new electronic services on the "Metrash2" application, during the opening of the activities of the 14th edition of the Global Exhibition of Homeland Security and Civil Defense Milipol Qatar 2022.

Among the services that were recently launched, are:

• The “Al-Adeed” service reports:

This service includes receiving reports of public morals, negative phenomena, exposure to threats, administrative corruption, and violations in tourist places to take the necessary measures in coordination with the competent authorities.

The new services also included search and follow-up communications, including “Leave of work” notifications:

On the other hand, it allows the recruiter to file a complaint against the recruiter who obtained a residence permit and left work without any justification.

• Reports of violation of purpose:

• Ticket Claims:

• Fines:

It allows the payment of fines for the recruiter exceeding the period of stay inside the country required to be paid by the personal recruiter or the facility.

• Residency issuance requests:

Receiving requests to issue residency permits that require approval from the Expatriates Affairs Department for several reasons, including (passport expiration, presence of notes on the fingerprint, notes on the medical examination, etc.)

• Residence renewal requests:

Receiving requests for residency renewal that require approval from the Expatriates Affairs Department (restricted period, age, etc.)

• Requests to cancel residency:

Receiving requests to cancel residency permits that require approval from the Expatriate Affairs Department for several reasons, including (owning vehicles, the presence of expatriates on the applicant and others).

• Requests to change passport data:

It is receiving requests to change passport data that require approval from the Expatriate Affairs Department for several reasons, including (the presence of a ban, the presence of escorts on the passport, and others).

• Reduction of fines for residence:

Receiving requests to reduce the fine imposed on the expatriate, which requires approval from the Expatriate Affairs Department

The Metrash2 application also allows the Qatari citizen to obtain approval for the recruitment of domestic workers, after presenting detailed statistics to the applicant when applying for the application. An immediate recruitment approval can be obtained if the conditions and controls are met, or the application is submitted to the competent committee if the conditions are not met.
