Get ready for a spectacular celestial show as the Delta Draconid meteor shower lights up Qatar’s skies on the evening of July 29, 2024. According to the Qatar Calendar House (QCH), the meteor shower will peak on Monday night and continue into the early hours of Tuesday.

Meteor Shower Details

Dr. Bashir Marzouk, an astronomical expert at QCH, explains that the Delta Draconid meteor shower is visible annually from mid-July to August 23. This year, it will reach its peak on July 29-30, with up to 20 meteors per hour expected to streak across the sky.
