Covid-19 Cases In UAE Crosses The 3000 Mark!

The UAE ministry of health and prevention has reported 3116 cases of Covid-19 and 1,182 recoveries as well as three death; this marks a new record of active covid-19 cases in UAE; global issues, in general, has increased around 270% worldwide since the Omicron variant was first discovered in South Africa back in late November.

As people are going for testing, a massive number of people have tested positive and therefore went into self-isolation modes, which made the defense ministry announced that they would send their troops to assist the staff in hospitals across the country; this has been an issue many experts warned off with the spread of the Omicron variant, while it does not cause severe symptoms like the Delta variant, the dangers could be from overcrowding hospitals and the equipment in use.

Cyrpus professor has recently announced discovering a new mixture between Delta variant and Omicron variant, calling it the "Deltacron" variant, however this is still under studies and yet to be confirmed if this is indeed a new strain and if it will affect us like the other past variants.
