Burj Khalifa Pays Tribute to India

India is no doubt going through a crisis as the number of Covid-19 cases keep on increasing as they have surged by 349,691 in the past 24 hours.

In light of that, the UAE’s most famous landmark, ‘Burj Khalifa’, the tallest building in the world, lit up the Indian flag in solidarity with India to show support.

"Sending hope, prayers, and support to India and all its people during this challenging time,” the Burj Khalifa's official Twitter account said.

The iconic tower also displayed the hashtag #StayStrongIndia.

Hospitals in Delhi and across the country are turning away patients after running out of medical oxygen and beds, and in Delhi, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal extended a lockdown in the capital that had been due to end on Monday for a week. Covid-19 is killing one person every four minutes in the city.

The fight against Covid-19 doesn’t stop and so if you would like to be a part of the fight, then you can definitely get vaccinated!
