The Smart Qatar Programme (TASMU) vehicle parking management project is being developed and tested to ensure that it works flawlessly in all aspects, including:

  1. Reserving parking spaces
  2. Collecting parking fees
  3. Monitoring and controlling parking violations
  4. Applying penalties for parking violations, in accordance with the law and ministerial decisions

The Smart Qatar Programme (TASMU) vehicle parking management system aims to reduce traffic congestion in crowded areas by organizing parking spaces and making optimal use of them.

This will also encourage people to use public transportation more often, which will help to reduce emissions and pollution. Additionally, the system is expected to improve traffic safety and reduce violations related to incorrect parking.
