Salary Levels
Salaries in Qatar range from 3,970 QAR per month (minimum salary) to 70,000 QAR per month (maximum average salary, actual maximum is higher).
Average Salary
The median salary is 15,700 QAR per month, which means that half (50 percent) of the population are earning less than 15,700 QAR while the other half are earning more than 15,700 QAR. The middle wage value is represented by the median. In general, you would want to be in the group earning more than the median pay on the right side of the graph.
Percentiles
The 25th and the 75th percentiles are two numbers that are closely related to the median. According to the salary distribution diagram, 25% of the population makes less than 8,840 QAR, while 75% makes more than 8,840 QAR. The diagram also shows that 25% of the population earns more than 42,800 QAR, while 75% of the population earns less than 42,800 QAR.
What distinguishes the median income from the average wage?
Both serve as markers. You are doing very well if your pay is higher than both the median and average. If your payment is less than both, a lot of people make more money than you, and you have room to improve.
Things can become a little tricky if your salary falls anywhere between the average and the median. We created a handbook to detail each of the many circumstances.
The level of experience has the biggest impact on compensation. Naturally, the salary increases with the number of years of experience.
In general, across all industries and disciplines, individuals with two to five years of experience earn, on average, 32% more than rookies and juniors.
Professionals with more than five years of experience typically make 36% more money than those with only five years or less.
The difference in experience-based pay between locations varies greatly, and it also relies on the professional field. The information shown here is the average of many different jobs added together. Select a specific job title to see precise data.
The salary rises by 21% as you reach the ten-year milestone, and by an additional 14% as you reach the fifteen-year milestone.
These numbers are just provided as suggestions. When you take into account each job title separately, the numbers become more significant.
