On December 7, 2022, two performances titled "World Cup Music" will be performed by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra (QPO) at Corniche.

The two parts of this extraordinary outdoor concert will run from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Together with the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC), the event will take place.

The musicians of QPO will play some of the best football songs, including "Hayya Hayya (Better Together)," "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)," and "We Are the Champions" by Queen.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup, which was hosted in South Africa, has "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" as its anthem. The 1994 FIFA World Cup's official theme song, "We Are the Champions," has evolved into an anthem for victories at sporting events. Additionally, the 2022 FIFA World Cup official soundtrack includes the song "Hayya Hayya (Better Together)".

According to a statement from the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra (QPO), by participating in these celebrations, the orchestra, which is a part of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development (QF), is helping QF achieve its objectives of fostering social participation and promoting the history and culture of Qatar and the Arab world.

Internationally renowned conductor Johannes Vogel will serve as the concert's master of ceremonies today.
