Woqod Qatar Launches Its Largest Ever Station Sawdanatheel 2
As part of its preparations to welcome the guests of the State of Qatar to attend the 2022 World Cup, Qatar Fuel "WOQOD" opened yesterday Sawdanatheel 2 station, which will serve as a gateway for residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries coming to Qatar by land road.
On this occasion, Mr. Saad Rashid Al Mohannadi, CEO and Managing Director of the company, said, “We are pleased to open Sawdanatheel 2 station on Salwa Road, which is the largest station that has been opened to date, to meet the needs of our valued customers in this region and around it.” He added, "The opening of this new station will contribute to welcoming Qatar's guests who coming to it by land, especially those who wish to attend the exceptional World Cup that will be held in Qatar, due to its new and distinctive services."

As part of WOQOD's green initiative in line with Qatar's 2030 vision for sustainable development, Sawdanatheel 2 station has been equipped with sources to generate electricity from solar energy to cover part of the energy used in the station, in cooperation with Siraj Energy Company. It also contains units for charging electric vehicles that were installed in cooperation With the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA).
The Sawdanatheel 2 station, which will welcome Qatar’s guests 24 hours a day, is located after they cross the land border point, approximately 33 kilometers towards Doha, is 30,000 square meters, and contains 4 lines that include 12 pumps for filling fuel for light vehicles, and two lines that include 4 pumps for filling diesel. for trucks. It also includes the "Sidra Garden" store for daily necessities and includes inside it a lobby that includes several shops and restaurants, in addition to two restaurants to provide express services directly to vehicles (Drive through).
In addition to all the above, customers can obtain all vehicle-related services such as manual washing, oil change, and tire repair for light vehicles, in addition to providing all types of petroleum products for light vehicles and trucks.
Mr. Al-Mohannadi added that the establishment of this distinguished station comes within WOQOD’s strategic plans, which are based on expanding its network of stations and serving all regions of the country and translates its ambitious plans to expand its network of stations and facilitate and make access to it easily.
It also aims to meet the increasing demand for petroleum products in the local market, and ensure the provision of high-quality products and services to all customers across the country as well as to its guests,
