Pakistan won the match against Sri Lanka by 31 runs for the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 on Thursday, Oct. 3 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. The team's captain Fatima Sana scored 30 runs, Nida Dar scored 23 runs, and Omaima Sohail scored 18 runs, which contributed to Pakistan's total score of 116 runs.
When the Sri Lankan team came to bat, they were only able to score 85 runs in 20 overs. Nilakshi de Silva scored 22 runs, Vishmi Gunaratne scored 20 runs, and Hasini Perere scored eight runs, helping Sri Lanka achieve their score.
Pakistan's captain took two wickets, Sadia Iqbal took three wickets, and Nashra Sandhu took two wickets, helping their team defeat Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lankan team's next match is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5 and Pakistan's next match is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 6.
