Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah emphasized that Umrah pilgrims must leave the Kingdom by Dhul Qadah 29, which corresponds to Jun. 6.
The ministry clarified that the Umrah visa for foreign pilgrims is valid only for 90 days, from the date of their entry into Saudi Arabia.
Once this period is finished, the visa holder is required to leave Saudi Arabia.
The ministry announced the deadline because they are working to streamline the flow of pilgrims to Makkah and Madinah for the annual pilgrimage of Hajj.
The ministry also stressed that there will be no visa extension once the Umrah visa has expired after 90 days. The authorities also clarified that the Umrah visa cannot be converted into another visa.
Applications for Umrah visas can be submitted at the official Nusuk Hajj platform.
