The new neighborhood, which is part of Al Wakra District, has 6,780 residential units and can accommodate 67,392 workers.

The Argentine neighborhood is one of the most desirable developments for many organizations and companies because of its geographical location, which links it to a modern network of roads.

According to Waseef, the newly constructed neighborhood is outfitted with the most advanced smart city technologies to offer modern solutions and services to various community segments.

The neighborhood, which was influenced by traditional Qatari architecture, was vital to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar last year, hosting hundreds of thousands of people and turning into a hotspot for Argentine supporters.

Between 35,000 and 40,000 Argentina fans traveled to the World Cup to see Lionel Messi win the competition after years of missed opportunities by the South Americans, according to the Argentine embassy in Qatar.

The group of people wearing blue and white shirts grew to be one of the biggest groups of international fans at the World Cup.
