Wegz has released "Ezz El Arab" as part of the FIFA 2022 World Cup Finals soundtrack in advance of his performance there on Sunday, December 18. The event will take place in Qatar.
Wegz, an internationally renowned Egyptian artist, has developed steadily over the course of his career. The Alexandrian rapper and vocalist have been a constant presence in modern Arabic music in a short amount of time by successfully ingraining himself into the cultural zeitgeist.
Wegz has made significant progress this year. For instance, his song "Al Bakht" has earned over 150 million views on YouTube and is the most-played artist in the MENA region on Spotify, according to the site's stats.

Ali El Arabi, who also directed Wegz's "B3oda Ya Belady" from the acclaimed film "Captains of Zaatari," filmed the music video for the song.
