Qatar’s Department of Meteorology has issued a weather update for today, highlighting hazy mornings, strong winds, and high sea waves. Daytime weather will be relatively cold with partial cloud cover, transitioning into a chilly-to-very-cold evening by 6 p.m.

In a post on X, the department shared that Sudanthile station recorded a morning low of 9°C, while temperatures in Doha dropped to 15°C.
Offshore, conditions will remain partly cloudy with a chance of scattered rain, while warnings are in place for gusty winds and turbulent seas.
Winds & Waves:
- Inshore Winds: Northwest at 8–18 knots, with gusts reaching 25 knots in some areas.
- Offshore Winds: Northwest at 10–20 knots, occasionally peaking at 25 knots.
- Sea State:
- Inshore: 2–4 feet, rising to 5 feet in places.
- Offshore: 3–6 feet, with waves climbing up to 8 feet at times.
Visibility:
Inshore visibility is expected to range between 4–10 km, while offshore visibility will remain steady at 5–10 km.
