Vodafone Qatar Launches "Together We Can" Campaign in Metaverse
Less than three weeks before the launch of the largest international sporting event in Qatar, Vodafone Qatar launched its latest national campaign: “Together We Can”, for the first time in the virtual world “Metaverse”, through an innovative virtual experience aimed at providing quality communications to football fans from the country Qatar and abroad during the tournament, enabling them to follow all the moments of the matches.
The launch event was held on Tuesday 1 November at the newly opened Vodafone store with a technology experience area in the Place Vendôme Mall.

The attendees witnessed the launch of the campaign on the Metaverse platform specially designed by Vodafone Qatar, to provide a unique digital experience for store visitors. The integrated campaign comes within the role that Vodafone has continued to play in recent years in developing the sports sector in Qatar.
Diego Camberos, Chief Operating Officer of Vodafone Qatar, revealed that the company aims to empower fans with the latest technology and activities to provide an interactive fan experience through a 5G network connection, "fan SIMs ", roaming services, and many other benefits.
And he announced that the "Free Unlimited Internet" service will be available for fans who hold the "Hayya" card for the first time ever. The offer includes a free mobile phone sim, included with unlimited internet for two days, in addition to thousands of local calling minutes and SMS.
Vodafone SIMs will be available to the public at all entry points to Qatar; My Vodafone app is customized to automatically activate the chip through the customer's AI-powered facial recognition technology and is linked to the customer's "Hayya" card for identification and security purposes.
In this way, fans will not need to go to any store as they will be able to buy their SIM digitally and activate it automatically by following simple steps on My Vodafone App.
After enjoying unlimited internet and voice calls for free for two days, fans can continue to take advantage of the bundle's features, including unlimited internet, local and international calls, 22 GB of roaming internet to use when visiting the GCC, and $275 worth of entertainment vouchers, they’ll get it for only $20 (QAR 72) valid for 7 days, or $40 USD (145 QAR) valid for 14 days.
The campaign also includes a partnership with four famous fans, namely Elephant, Cole (Birdman), Caramelo, and Mohamed Saadoun Al-Kuwari, to provide training courses at the Fan Academy, including different courses on "How to stand out as a fan". Moreover, in line with the fans’ enthusiasm during the tournament, Vodafone’s profile on Spotify and Anghami will include a “festive playlist for fans.”
