Vodafone offers an IOT-enabled asset tracking system to customers in two packages to meet the needs of both large and small businesses. All users can manage their assets through the self-service Internet of Things portal, and through an application that works on mobile devices when monitoring remotely while they are at the service site, both packages allow users to track, use a dashboard and receive notifications of reports and alerts.

Mr. Mahdi Saad Al Habbabi, Director of Enterprise Business Department at Vodafone Qatar commented: “We have seen first-hand the urgent need to bring IoT technologies to the market and enable digital transformation through innovative IoT solutions.

Al Habbabi added, “Companies should not waste valuable time figuring out which technologies are most suitable for them. They need IoT technology that they can easily operate, implement, use and have access to at reasonable prices so that they can focus their efforts and attention on achieving their business goals.”

Examples of features and benefits that companies derive from the new IoT-enabled asset tracking system include ensuring complete control over the location of assets, monitoring, and control of asset condition (perimeter and orientation status), reducing the potential for loss and theft, enhancing prevention, increasing operational efficiency, protecting, and securing valuable assets.
