TikTok Flags 'Free Palestine' as Hate Speech, Faces Backlash

TikTok users in the US have reported that comments containing the phrase 'Free Palestine' are being flagged as hate speech.

The controversy comes days after TikTik was temporarily banned, but quickly reinstated by an executive order from President Donald Trump.
Before the brief ban on Sunday, TikTok was considered one of the few significant platforms that allowed pro-Palestinian content without bias.
Videos have been shared on X, revealing these comments being removed for allegedly violating TikTik's hate speech regulations.

One viral video showing the removal has already received more than eight million views on X.
The app has received severe backlash for silencing Palestinian advocacy.
