Three architectural buildings under Qatar Museums have secured prestigious awards at the 2023 International Beautiful Buildings Green Apple Awards, QM's Chairperson Sheikha Al Mayassa announced.

These awards highlight Qatar's growing position as a thriving artistic hub and its sustainable architectural excellence.
The National Museum of Qatar won the Gold award, while the Museum of Islamic Art took the Silver, and the Doha Fire Station earned the Conservation Bronze award.
The Green Apple Awards are globally recognized for appreciating structures that combine both visual beauty and eco-friendliness.
The awards shine a spotlight on buildings that integrate recyclable elements, optimize reduced emissions, and promote a greener planet.
Sheikha Al Mayassa said she considered it an affirmation of Qatar's commitment to "designing sustainable and innovative buildings that promote a healthier planet for generations to come."
