Opening of Al Wakrah Special Needs and Elderly Water Walkway

The Ministry of Municipality announced the opening of Mesaieed Park in Al Wakrah Municipality on April 23, 2024. The inauguration was led by His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Attiyah, Minister of Municipality. The park was designed and constructed by the Ministry’s Public Parks Department according to international standards.

Park Features and Amenities

Mesaieed Park spans 38,029 square meters, with green spaces covering 11,316 square meters. The park includes six illuminated picnic cabanas, an illuminated water fountain, and a mosque. Its parking lot can accommodate up to 132 vehicles.

Recreational Facilities

The park offers various sports facilities, including a tennis court, a basketball court, three football fields, and a running and walking track. There is also a covered play area with rubber flooring for children and four sports zones for people of all ages.

Security and Other Features

Mesaieed Park is equipped with monitoring systems operating 24/7, providing a safe environment for visitors. The park also features chilled drinking water, modern irrigation systems, healthcare facilities, and private security rooms.
