The world's highest prayer room was revealed in Makkah, earning Saudi Arabia another Guinness World Record.

The prayer room is called Sky Mussallah and is located at the Address Jabal Omar Makkah.
How Did Sky Mussallah Make a Guinness World Record?

Sky Mussallah has become the world's highest prayer room because it is located 483 meters above sea level at the interconnecting bridge between the Adress hotel's twin towers, across floors 36, 37, and 38.
The prayer room is also 179 meters from the hotel's internal road level.
Instantly upon its opening, the prayer room received the Guinness World Record for the 'Highest Prayer Room Within a Sky Bridge'.
To make this record, the prayer room was first assembled as a 650-tonne steel bridge at 312 metres above sea level after which it was lifted to the current level it is situated at.

Sky Mussallah can host up to 520 worshippers and offers a breathtaking view of the Kaaba, Masjid Al Haram, and the holy city of Makkah.
The prayer room's interior features grey carpeted floors and white pillars and walls with minimalistic chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.
One wall of the prayer room features one famous verse from the Quran Ayat-ul-Kursi.
The pillars feature Arabic letters, while some of the walls also feature God's names in Arabic.
