Fight Erupts During the Qatar SC and CS Sfaxien Match

During the match between Qatar SC and Tunisian club CS Sfaxien for the King Salman Club Cup in Tunisia, tensions erupted in the stands and on the field.
A brawl took place on the field between Qatar SC's midfielder Bashar Resan in the second half of the game, and a Sfaxien player who he ended up hitting with the ball.
The first signs of tension was when CS Sfaxien fans lit up flares that created a strained environment for Qatar SC players to play in.
In the 71st minute of the match, a flare tossed by the fans erupted right next to Qatar SC's goalkeeper Saate’a Al Abbasi, who fell on the pitch from the impact.

This act not only led to a squabble in the field, but it also led to fans throwing plastic bottles, targeting Resan.

Medics hurried to check on the goalkeeper, but he eventually rose to his feet. The match ended with a goalless draw, despite the CS Sfaxien fans' wild support.
