Ashghal, Qatar's public works authority, has announced temporary road closures affecting key routes starting Friday, November 1, 2024. These closures are part of ongoing road maintenance efforts.

Tunnel and Lane Closures
The tunnel from the Corniche to Ras Abu Abboud Expressway will be closed from 2am on Friday until 5am on Sunday, November 3. Additionally, three lanes in one direction from Sharq Intersection to Hamad International Airport will also be affected during this time.

Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor and Al Shamal Road
In addition to the tunnel closures, the Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor will experience a 9-hour closure from the Umm Lekhba Tunnel to Leqtaifiya Tunnel, impacting traffic headed toward Hamad International Airport. However, service roads and the Leqtaifiya signal will remain accessible.
