Pakistan lost to the US by five runs in the group stage match on Thursday, Jun. 6 at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas, US.

Pakistan batted first and scored 159 runs with seven wickets. The team's captain Babar Azam, Shadab Hussain, and Shaheen Ali Afridi helped the team score these many runs.
Azam and Hussain's partnership led the team to score 72 runs while Afridi scored 23 runs.
Monank Patel's half-century and Aaron James' performance helped the US team level the score with 159 runs and three wickets in 20 overs, which led to the super over.
The US set a target of 19 runs for Pakistan, while the latter set 13 runs in reply.

The US made 18 runs in the super over, while Pakistan was only able to secure 13 runs, so the former team won the match
by five runs.
