Spring Season Starts Officially in Qatar

The Qatar Calendar House has announced that the Hameemain (two heats) season will start today, March 8th, marking the start of the spring season.

The Hameemain season will run for the next 26 days, it added.
The length of day and night will be equal in the middle of this season depending on the geographical latitude and the angle of inclination of the sun's rays.
Meanwhile, the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said tonight would be the first night for the sighting of the Saad Al Saud star, which will be visible for the next 13 days and announces the start of spring.

Strong and low winds will also become active during this season, in addition to continuous weather fluctuations.
The QMD stated earlier that temperatures in the country would rise gradually during the second half of March, while the daily mean temperature for the month is projected to be 21.9°C.
People living in Qatar can still enjoy outdoor activities in spring such as going to the beach, having a walk at night, and hosting BBQ parties in the backyard or any of Qatar's parks.
The weather in Qatar during Spring is warm, where daily elevated temperatures are from 24°C to 40°C, rarely falling below 21C or exceeding 43°C. While daily low temperatures are from 16°C to 28°C, rarely falling below 13°C or exceeding 32°C.
