Katara Beach

One of the most beautiful natural beaches of Qatar, Katara’s private beach spans over 1.5km. Beach goers have a choice between enjoying a relaxed beach experience and diving into the fun with a great variety of adrenaline-boosting beach activities.

You will enjoy boat ride in Katara for QAR 120 for 30 minutes.

Kneeboarding and water skiing are available there for QAR 150 for 30 minutes.

Swimming ends at sunset at Katara.

You will need to purchase watersports tickets minimum 30 minutes before sunset.

Fuwairit Beach

Fuwairit Beach is located in the city of Al Ghariya in the northeast of Qatar. The beach is famous for the turtles that lay eggs from April to July every year.

This beach's water is moderate and shallow, making it perfect for children to swim.

Camping is another fun activity to have enjoy on this beach.

If you're lucky, you might even see dolphins on this beach.

The beach's beautiful white sand allows children to play beach volleyball and sunbathe without discomfort. You can enjoy Kitesurfing at Al Fuwairit.

Al Maroona Beach

Al Maroona Beach Qatar is located in the North eastern part of the state of Qatar. It is about 80 kilometers from the capital city, Doha. The best time to visit this beach is in the months from April to May and from September to November.

Sealine Beach

Sealine Beach is located on Qatar's east coast, about an hour's drive south of Doha, through the country's petroleum refineries and natural gas processing complexes.

The beach is ideal for camping as it is completely fenced in and has amenities such as restrooms and a playground for children.

During the winter months, most visitors come to hike and cycle in the desert region near the beach.

Simaisma Beach

Simaisma beach is around 40 kilometer from Doha; a 30-minute drive to reach it.

Simaisma Beach has soft sand and shallow seas, making it a safe place for families with children to spend their leisure time by the water.

It features restrooms, shaded areas, playgrounds, a football pitch and food and drink outlets to ensure a stress-free family day out. Children will have a great time playing on the three playgrounds and having the freedom to run around in the open, kick a ball, and even explore the mangroves.

Banana Island

Banana Island is a small island in Qatar. Its territory is crescent-shaped and is located off the coast of the capital city of Doha.

Banana Island Resort is accessible by boat only. It is a 25-minute journey by ferry from Al Shyoukh Terminal, located in the city's downtown area.

It offers underwater adventures like diving to land activities such as bowling and golfing.
