Smart City Expo Doha 2022 Displays Utopian Future
The Smart City Expo is a global, ever-expanding movement. Since its inception in 2013, the event has grown to include cities all around the world, with local renditions tailored to the unique needs and interests of its host locations.
Doha Smart City Expo 2022 gathered prominent experts from across the world in Msheireb Downtown to share ideas and develop solutions on how to build a brighter and more sustainable future for cities and their residents.

This event permitted the public to explore the available opportunities in the digital world, sharing ideas and solutions in order to create a better and more sustainable future for cities and the people who live in them. It featured international and local keynote speakers, alongside more than 100 exhibitors, 70 speakers and field experts. More than 2500 visitors and delegates from more than 20 countries, were there under the theme of ‘Sustainable Future of Resilience’. The event was an opportunity to percentage experiences in smart towns and offer infrastructure that serves residents and traffic to satisfy future needs at the same time as on the identical time being environmentally pleasant and power-neutral for generations to come.
The venue of the exhibition in Misheireb was characterized by its recent reconstruction in Doha, which can be described as a remarkable development, the use of information and communications technology and intelligent design to change the quality of life of the people. The Qatari Ministry of Transport participated in the fair with a pavilion that highlighted the bus transition method that contributes to helping Qatar's march in the direction of an inexperienced future and reaching monetary and environmental balance to ensure the sustainability of transportation regional projects through using alternative and clean power.
To aid this method, the ministry is developing a public bus infrastructure application in cooperation with the relevant authorities, which incorporates working 8 stations and four bus depots ready with electric-powered bus charging gadgets.
