Last week, reports revealed that Sheikh Jassim submitted a fifth and final bid for the English football club, claiming that he is not planning to offer any other bids.
While the financials have not been disclosed, UK media reports said that Sheikh Jassim's final bid amounted to about £5.5 billion for total control of the club, with an offering to pay its £1 billion debt.
Sheikh Jassim's only competitor for the bid was the British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Ratcliffe, the chief of Ineos group, had wanted to purchase around 60 percent of the club.
