The Israeli prime minister was welcomed with applause at the US Congress. In his speech, Netanyahu thanked Biden for his support and wished Donal Trump well after the assassination attempt.
He criticized student protestors who have been protesting in the US against the war in Gaza.
Netanyahu also claimed, quoting a US military analyst, that Israel has gone “beyond what international law requires” to avoid civilian casualties in Gaza.
