Qatar's Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani placed the war in Gaza at the center of his opening address at the Doha Forum 2023.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Qatar will continue its efforts to end the war in Gaza by pressuring Israel to reach a truce, despite limited chances for it.
Sheikh Mohammed also shed light on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, which has resulted from the ongoing war and the lack of action from the international community to stop the war.
Other Officials Talking About the Gaza Crisis at the Doha Forum 2023
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres also spoke on Sunday, Dec. 10 at the forum.
He talked about invoking Article 99 of the UN Charter last week because of the devastating and unprecedented civilian casualties that have taken place in Gaza during the war.
Guterres also talked about the increasing risk of the collapse of the humanitarian system, which will have irreversible consequences for Palestinians.
Other officials also spoke about the Palestinian issue on the first day of the Doha Forum including Jordan's Foreign Minister and Palestine’s Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh.
