The committee asked individuals who spot the crescent moon, either by the naked eye or binoculars, to report it at the ministry's headquarters located in Al Dafna.
The holy month of Ramadan, however, is expected to start on March 23rd and end on April 21st, but the dates are subject to change on the basis of moon sightings.
