Qatar University Ranked One of the Best Universities in the world
According to the results of the latest version of the QS Quacquarelli Symonds ranking of worldwide universities in the field of ranking by disciplines for 2022, Qatar University is ranked one of the top universities in the world for the study of 19 academic fields. The University went from 245th place in 2021 to 224th place in 2022, a 21-place improvement over the previous year's edition.
According to the results of a QS survey of 19 academic disciplines, 89 percent of these disciplines were developed, with 0 percent of performance decline, and 11 percent of academic disciplines remained at the same level as before. It's worth noting that, according to this analysis, Qatar University's highest performance was in the fields of Religious Science, Religious Studies, and Sports disciplines.

"According to this classification, 19 academic disciplines provided by Qatar University have been ranked as among the best in the world," said Dr. Hassan Rashed Al Derham, President of Qatar University. "This is considered a major advancement for the University compared to last year, and the results of this ranking contributed to the progress of Qatar Center to become 57th in the world." The university's importance in terms of education and learning is that the international accreditation of Qatar University is a critical step toward the university's goal of becoming a quality and excellent scientific institution. In light of this, UNU has started a long-term plan to achieve international accreditation for its colleges, programs, and courses. It was successful in securing international accreditation for seven of its programs in the Faculty of Engineering (BET), NACCLS, CSC, CCAPP, AACSB, CEA, and ISO/IEC 17025-2005, another international accreditation provided to the Center for Environmental Studies' laboratories. The University of Qatar is a globally recognized institution with strong ties to other educational institutions. It is a member of many notable regional and international organizations, including the Arab Universities Union, the Islamic Universities Association, and the International Federation of Universities.
