The country's Ministry of Transport has launched plans to test air taxis and electric delivery planes in early 2025.
The ministry has initiated these plans to enhance the integrated mobility ecosystem in Qatar.
The transport ministry has granted all the necessary approvals to carry out these test runs, so the public can expect to commute using these electric vehicles very soon!
Introducing air taxis will improve Qatar's transport system and help achieve the goals of the Third Qatar National Development Strategy (NDS3).
NDS3 focuses on achieving sustainable development and economic diversification in Qatar.
If you have to go to work or out with your friends or family, you'll soon be able to do so via air taxis!
