According to QNA, the Qatar Scientific Club (QSC) has undertaken a bold project to set up eight digital fabrication labs across various public schools, enabling students to gain practical experience with innovative technologies.
A Fab Lab, short for digital fabrication laboratory, serves as a center for creativity, novelty, and education. It functions as a place where individuals can explore, innovate, and mentor others, designing tangible items by utilizing a combination of tools and materials, ranging from basic to advanced. In the educational realm, these labs provide students with a chance to produce concrete objects that reflect their learning journey.

In partnership with Qatar's Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE), the new installations intend to boost the quantity of innovators and attract science-minded individuals interested in pursuing scientific fields at the university level.
