The Ministry of Interior in Qatar has announced that the old Metrash2 app will no longer be functional starting March 1, 2025. To avoid service disruptions, users must download the latest version of the Metrash app, now available on the Apple Store and Google Play.
Upgrade Required for Continued Access
Authorities are urging all users to make the switch before the deadline to ensure uninterrupted access to the ministry’s electronic services.

Starting from March 1, 2025, the old Metrash app (Metrash2) will be discontinued. To continue accessing the Ministry of Interior’s electronic services, please download the new Metrash app by scanning the QR code.

Device Compatibility Guidelines
