"Tomorrow marks the beginning of the 39-day 'Al Kannah' season, during which the stars of the Pleiades star cluster disappear, with the mild evening weather coming to an end, and the beginning of scorching summer heat during the day," the QCH tweeted.

The Gulf country will witness frequent weather fluctuations and dust storms halfway into the Al Kannah season, it added.

Meanwhile, the Qatar Meteorology Department's weather forecast for today, April 30th, said the country would experience hot daytime and a chance of local clouds formation, with temperatures varying between 28°C and 38°C in Doha.

The wind will blow southeasterly to southwesterly, with speeds between five and 15 knots, gusting to 20 knots.
