Chance to Strengthen E-Learning
This one-day event is designed to improve the technological skills of teachers and students, helping them take full advantage of the country’s e-learning systems. The Ministry’s decision to introduce this day is part of a broader effort to diversify educational methods and improve the effectiveness of online learning tools.
What Parents and Students Need to Know
The “Distance Learning Day” will apply to all government schools, except for kindergarten classes, which will continue as normal. Students from grades 1 to 12 will attend live classes broadcasted through the Qatar Education System. Elementary students will begin their lessons at 7:10 AM, while middle and high school students will start at 8:00 AM.
Parents are advised to create a suitable learning environment at home, following the class schedule provided by the school. Students who miss two classes will be marked absent. The Ministry also emphasized the importance of ensuring that students have access to the Qatar Education System and Microsoft Teams, with updated versions on their devices. Parents are encouraged to check their child’s login credentials to avoid issues accessing the system.
