Qatar sees a 25 percent year-on-year increase in the number of air passengers arriving in March 2023, according to the latest Air Transport Statistics released by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA).

Qatar welcomed 3,516,939 air passengers in March, compared with 2,813,043 passengers arriving in the Gulf country in the same month of last year.
The QCAA added that aircraft movement recorded in the country last month increased 12.9 percent year-on-year, to 19,561 flights, up from 17,320 in March 2022.
The number of air passengers registered for January and February of this year had been the highest on record since the start of operations of the Hamad and Doha International Airports.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup gave Qatar unprecedented publicity and the number of visitors has shown a steady increase since its end.
