Qatar welcomed 253,191 cruise visitors during its 2022/23 season, which was running from December 2022 to March 2023, with an increase of 151 percent compared to the previous cruise season, according to new data from Qatar Tourism (QT).

During Qatar's 2021/22 cruise season, the country welcomed only 100,500 visitors.
This sharp uptake in visitor figures came despite the fact that this cruise season began later than usual; in December rather than October.
Among the number of cruise visitors welcomed this season, 37,144 were turnaround passengers, a 790 percent up from 4,172 passengers during last season.
The next Qatar Cruise Season 2023/24 will begin on October 8th, 2023.
Cruise passengers arriving to Qatar through Doha Port are welcomed in a brand-new Grand Terminal that features state-of-the-art facilities.
Doha Port can now accommodate two megaships at a time, and up to 12,000 people a day.
