Qatar Olympic Committee Celebrates Olympic Day at 3-2-1 Museum
The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum in Doha hosted a spectacular event on Thursday as part of the Qatar Olympic Committee's (QOC) celebration of the 2022 Olympic Day.
Ashraf Amgad El-Seify, Abdulla Al-Tamimi, and Mubaraka Al Nuaimi, three members of Team Qatar, attended Thursday's most memorable Olympic event, which also attracted a significant number of School Olympic Program students and athletes from the Athlete Development Pathway (Be an Athlete).
The purpose of Olympic Day is to inspire young people to get more active, to learn about and explore the world of sports, and to do it in a way that supports the Olympic movement and instills its ideals in the neighborhood.
The QOC organized a number of tours and activities throughout the event to highlight various museum exhibits and to highlight various histories, such as the history of sports generally, the history of the Olympic Games, Qatar's most important sporting events, and the most influential athletes globally.
Additionally, the public was allowed access to the museum's dynamic activities section, which features more than 18 interactive and dynamic exercises designed to improve participants' athletic and mental abilities.
Mr. Khaleel Ibrahim Al Jaber, Director of the Sports Affairs Department, stated that the Qatar Olympic Committee will continue to be enthusiastic about celebrating all International Olympic Committee (IOC) annual sporting occasions and will spare no effort in uniting the community to observe this day each year, engage in sports, and discover a healthier way of life overall.
"We will stop at nothing to ensure that everyone receives our Olympic Day message. We firmly believe that sport can bring people together and communicate with them on their terms, continued Mr. Al Jaber.
The growth of sport in Qatar has been significantly aided by the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC). In addition to setting up strong and competitive teams and organizing local, regional, and international sporting events, this function has seen the development of motivational projects and programs for younger people and the public.
Mubaraka Al Naimi, a budding tennis star from Qatar, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the celebration at the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum with more than 150 kids.
The athlete continued, "Qatar is always eager to honor all records of sports and significant moments; today, we got the opportunity to learn more about the IOC founding day and explore the extensive galleries of 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum.
Athlete Development Pathway: With the ADP approach, Qatar hopes to generate a new wave of world-class athletes. Aspire Academy and the QOC collaborated on a three-year effort that resulted in ADP. Each of the 39 sport-specific models in the framework is designed to promote optimum growth across a variety of sports and disciplines, including parasport and women in sport.
