Katara Cultural Village in Doha hosted a massive celebration for Qatar National Day, drawing thousands of citizens and expatriates to enjoy a variety of cultural and heritage events. The festivities, which began at 3 PM, featured a blend of military displays, traditional performances, and community activities that highlighted the country’s pride and patriotism.
Military Displays and Traditional Performances
One of the most thrilling moments of the day was the paramotor parachute show, where skilled pilots soared through the skies, leaving spectators in awe. The Qatar Armed Forces' Centre for Performances and Military Music also performed, captivating the audience with a powerful display of military precision along the Corniche.
In addition, the traditional Qatari Ardah dance was showcased, a powerful cultural expression that highlights loyalty and national pride. The dance, which features men performing synchronized movements to drumbeats, is an important part of Qatar’s heritage.
